"The Proposal" Movie Review

Every week Daddy Planet will review a movie that is perfect for Dads and their wives/girlfriends or a movie that is great for Dads to take their kids to. This week is a review of the movie, "The Proposal", a film featuring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. A really great movie for a Date Night, your wife or girlfriend will thoroughly enjoy it. The movie details a corporate Editor who is from Canada and is being deported out of the country, but she decides to force her male secretary to marry her so she is not deported. She (Sandra Bullock) is known for being a total witch, so the male secretary (Ryan Reynolds) is having a difficult time with the notion of marrying his boss, but he comes up with an offer that she has to accept. The deportation folks are on their case heavily and are threatening prison time for an illegal marriage of helping someone remain in the country. They visit his parents in Alaska to learn about each other and announce their "engagement", which is quite funny. Although both do not like each other, while in Alaska they start falling in love, and his parents are pushing for a wedding in Alaska. She finally comes clean to everyone in his family about the fake engagment. You will have to watch the ending. The review does not do the movie justice, as it is extremely funny, and is definitely worth your time and money. Betty White is also in the movie and makes it even more hilarious.
